Slab sheets, patterns & defects
List natural stone slab by slab: scan the measurement sheet, group the patterns, report every crack, photograph the bundle.
- Measure every slab at the yard and write it on your sheet, as you do today.
- Scan the sheet in the listing form — we read the slab numbers and sizes. Check the table.
- Group the slabs by pattern: “slabs 1–10 look like this, 11–12 like this”. One front photo per pattern.
- Report every crack or defect with its length and a photo with a tape measure.
- Add one side photo of the bundle so buyers can count the slabs.
What buyers see
Buyers don't see one “average” size. They see each pattern with its photo, how many slabs it has, and the smallest and largest slab in it — for example Pattern A · slabs 1–10 · length 280–300 cm · height 75–90 cm. The broker checks the yard against the same numbers, so a slab outside the range you declared is a discrepancy. The range comes straight from your table, so it is always exactly what you measured.

Uniform or slab by slab?
| Stock | How to list it |
|---|---|
| Quartz, porcelain, sintered stone, calibrated tiles, cut-to-size | All the same size — one size and the number of slabs or boxes. |
| Granite, marble, quartzite, onyx, travertine, sandstone, slate — gang-saw slabs | Slab by slab — the measurement sheet, patterns, defects and a bundle photo. |
| Natural stone cut to one calibrated size | Either. If every piece really is the same, choose “All the same size”. |
Reading your measurement sheet
Write one slab per line: slab number, length, height. Ranges work too — 11–20 305 × 190 means slabs 11 to 20 all measure 305 × 190. Choose centimetres or inches before you scan. We highlight any row that looks wrong (a size that isn't a slab, a number that appears twice) — check those against the paper. You can also paste the same columns from Excel.

Reporting cracks and defects
| What | What to write |
|---|---|
| Crack, hairline crack, resin-filled crack, open vein | Slab number, length in cm, roughly where it is (top left, centre…), and a close-up photo with a tape measure. |
| Chipped edge, broken corner | Slab number, size in cm, which edge or corner, and a photo with a tape. |
| Hole, stain, rust spot, shade change, bow | Slab number, where it is, and a photo. Add the area you can't use (m²) if it reduces the usable size. |
A defect you report is part of the listing — buyers decide with it in front of them. A defect the broker finds that isn't on the listing is a discrepancy: the buyer can cancel with a full refund and your account health drops.
