Fabrication units
Register your cutting unit, publish your rates and receive fabrication jobs.
- Buyers add fabrication to a product; QwikStone allots the best-value shop near the yard or near the buyer — or the buyer picks you.
- You set your rate card; you can also bid on individual jobs with a drawing.
- You start cutting only after the broker has verified the stone.
Who can register
Stone yards with their own cutting unit (choose “Stone + fabrication”) and independent cutting shops (“Fabrication unit”). You need a registered business and the machines listed below.
What we verify
| Item | How |
|---|---|
| Fabrication unit registration | Udyam registration or factory licence (India); business / municipal licence elsewhere. |
| Each machine | Type, make & model, key spec (blade Ø, max cutting length, axes), year and serial number — with a photo of the machine and its serial plate. |
| Ownership | Invoice or lease for the machines; the serial numbers must match the plates. |
| Capacity | Sq ft per day you can cut; we use it to compute lead times. |
Machines we list
Bridge saw · CNC bridge saw (5-axis) · CNC work centre · Waterjet · Edge polishing line · Calibrating machine · Tile cutting line · Gang saw · Block cutter · Mitre saw (45°).
Your rate card
Cutting per sq ft, cutting per running ft, tile cutting per running ft, edge per running ft (the buyer's profile applies a factor: eased ×0.7 … ogee ×1.6), cut-outs each, minimum charge, MOQ and lead time. See typical rates.
Jobs
- You're allotted a job (or win it with a bid) — you get the cutting list, drawing and the buyer's edge profile.
- The broker verifies the stone; the job turns to “Ready to cut”.
- Upload a photo of every finished piece, then crate them (foam between polished faces).
- The fee is paid with the order's balance, weekly.
Ratings
Buyers rate your work after delivery. Shops with high ratings and on-time jobs are allotted first.
