- You sell your own stock to buyers on QwikStone at the prices you set. We hold the buyer's deposit, send an independent broker to check the stock, arrange transport and pay you out.
- QwikStone's marketplace fee is 3% of the order value. There's no separate selling fee. The broker check is paid by you — ₹2 per sq ft in India (rates for other currencies below).
- Load the truck within 2 hours (or a container within 4 hours) of it arriving; after that, detention is charged per started hour.
- List only stock you have, describe it accurately, and don't sell reserved stock elsewhere.
1. This agreement
This seller agreement is between you (the business that opens a Seller Hub account) and Qwikstone Technologies Private Limited. It applies together with the Terms of use, the Privacy policy and, where you use them, the Advertising & Ads wallet terms, Brand Shield terms and API & developer terms. Words defined in the Terms of use have the same meaning here.
You accept this agreement when you create a business account or submit an application to sell. The person accepting confirms they are authorised to bind the business.
2. Applying to sell and verification
- You must be a registered business in the market you sell from, with the tax registration that market requires (for example GSTIN and IEC in India, EIN in the US, VAT or company number in the UK and EU, CNPJ in Brazil, RFC in Mexico).
- You must provide true, current documents — business registration, tax certificates, address proof, bank account in the business's name — and the person signing must be an owner, director or authorised signatory. We may check them with official registers and verification providers.
- We clear most applications within 1–3 working days. We may ask for more documents, approve with limits (for example a lower first payout), or decline an application. If we decline, we'll tell you why where the law allows.
- Keep your details and documents up to date. If a document expires or a registration changes, update it in Settings → Documents & verification. Listings may be paused until expired documents are replaced.
- You may add companies in other markets to your group. Each company is verified for its own market.
3. Plans and billing
- Seller Hub plans (Local, Local Plus, International, Premium, Machinery Manufacturer, Brand Shield and Brand membership) differ in the number of listings, photos, users, markets and features such as QwikStone Ads, Brand Shield, Merchandising and API access. Current prices and features are on the pricing page and in Seller Hub → Plan & billing.
- Opening a QwikStone business account and creating listings is free. A listing is shown to buyers only while you have a paid plan: you choose the plan when you put your first listing live. Before QwikStone opens on its launch date, a plan you start is free until launch day and the first charge is on that day.
- If your application isn't approved, you can appeal within 30 days, twice per application. A reviewer who didn't make the first decision handles each appeal.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, to the card or bank mandate you save. The subscription page shows exactly what is charged today (including any credit for unused days of your current plan), the renewal amount and the next renewal date before you agree.
- Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for. Fees already paid aren't refunded except where this agreement or the law says so.
- If a renewal payment fails, we'll try again and tell you. If it isn't paid within 14 days, your account moves to a lower plan and listings above that plan's limit are paused (not deleted).
- In India, QwikStone's charges include 18% GST, and a tax invoice for each charge is in Seller Hub → Billing & invoices. Elsewhere, applicable VAT or sales tax is shown on the invoice.
- We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
4. Fees on orders
4.1 Marketplace fee
QwikStone charges a marketplace fee of 3% of the order value (the price of the goods in the order, excluding transport and taxes) on every completed order. There is no separate selling or listing fee and no different rate for part loads or full containers. The fee is deducted from your payout. The listing price buyers see is worked out from your price (Seller Hub shows both).
4.2 Broker check
Every order is checked by an independent broker before the buyer pays the balance. The broker check is paid by you and deducted from your payout:
| Currency | Stone and tiles | Machinery |
|---|---|---|
| Indian rupee | ₹2 per sq ft inspected | ₹2,500 per machine |
| US dollar | $0.06 per sq ft | $30 per machine |
| Euro | €0.05 per sq ft | €28 per machine |
| Pound sterling | £0.05 per sq ft | £24 per machine |
| Brazilian real | R$0.30 per sq ft | R$150 per machine |
| Mexican peso | MX$1.00 per sq ft | MX$500 per machine |
The broker check is charged whether the report shows a match or a discrepancy, because the inspection was carried out. It is not charged if the buyer cancels before the broker visit.
4.3 Loading and detention
QwikStone sends the truck or container to your yard; you are responsible for loading it safely, in the agreed packing, with your own equipment and people.
- Free loading time: 2 hours for a truck and 4 hours for a container, counted from when the vehicle arrives at your yard during your opening hours.
- Detention: after the free time, detention is charged for each started hour until loading is finished: ₹1,000 / $50 / €45 / £40 / R$200 / MX$800 per hour. It is deducted from your payout and shown on the order.
- Arrival and loading times are recorded in Seller Hub. If you think a time is wrong, raise it on the order within 48 hours.
- Detention isn't charged for delays caused by QwikStone, the transporter or the buyer.
4.4 Other services
Optional services — QwikStone Ads, Merchandising, Export, Support plans, insurance and finance — have their own prices, shown before you use them.
5. Listings
- Accurate. Material, stone name, origin, colour, finish, thickness, slab sizes, quantities, tile ratings, certifications and hazard information must be true and complete. Photos of natural stone must show the actual lot or block; for tiles, a representative tile from the same batch and shade. Generated or stock images may not be used to represent natural stone you sell.
- Stock you control. List only stock you own or are authorised to sell, at the yard or port stated. Keep quantities current; if stock sells elsewhere, update the listing straight away.
- Prices. You set your price. Prices of branded goods must respect any minimum price set by the brand owner under Brand Shield. Prices must not be misleading — for example a “regular price” must be one you've genuinely charged.
- Brands. You may list under a brand name only if you own the brand, your company owns it, or you are an approved seller of a Brand Shield brand. See the Brand Shield terms.
- Prohibited. No counterfeit, stolen, illegally quarried, sanctioned or unsafe goods; no hazardous goods without the UN number, hazard class and safety data sheet; no claims you can't prove.
- Review. Listings are checked automatically and may be reviewed by our team. We may reject, edit for compliance, pause or remove listings that break these rules, and tell you why.
- Licence. You give QwikStone the right to display, translate, resize and promote your listings, photos and store page on QwikStone and in marketing about QwikStone, including through partners who show QwikStone listings.
6. Orders
- Reservation. When a buyer pays the deposit, the stock in the order is reserved. You must not sell, move or alter reserved stock.
- Confirm readiness. Confirm in Seller Hub that the stock is ready for inspection, normally within 48 hours. If you can't supply it, tell us immediately; the buyer is refunded in full and your account health is reduced.
- Broker visit. Give the broker safe access during your opening hours and the help needed to count, measure and photograph the stock. Don't offer brokers money, gifts or favours.
- Discrepancies. If the report shows a difference from the listing, you may propose an adjustment (price, quantity or replacement). The buyer chooses whether to accept it or cancel for a full refund.
- Packing and loading. Load verified stock in the packing agreed for the order (for example A-frames, crates, foam between polished faces), with the documents the shipment needs.
- Fabrication. If the buyer added fabrication, QwikStone arranges for the stock to reach the fabrication shop; follow the pickup instructions on the order.
- Invoices. You issue the commercial invoice for the goods to the buyer and are responsible for the taxes on your sales.
7. Payouts
- Payouts are made to the verified bank account in your business's name. We release the deposit for an order when the stock is loaded, and the balance after the buyer accepts the inspection report and the stock leaves your yard.
- From each payout we deduct the marketplace fee, the broker check, any detention, agreed adjustments, refunds you owe and other amounts due to QwikStone under this agreement. Seller Hub → Payments shows every deduction.
- Payouts run on your chosen schedule (weekly by default, or daily, fortnightly or monthly, subject to a minimum amount you set).
- We may hold a payout where there is a dispute, a suspected breach of this agreement, a legal requirement, or a risk of chargebacks, for as long as reasonably needed. We'll tell you why.
- If amounts you owe exceed your payouts, you must pay the difference within 14 days of our invoice.
8. Account health
Your account health score reflects how reliably you sell: inspection matches, cancellations, time to confirm stock, response to buyers, loading times and ratings. It is shown in Seller Hub → Performance with what affects it and what to do.
- A low score can reduce your listings' visibility, pause your ads or limit new listings.
- Very low scores, repeated discrepancies or serious breaches can lead to suspension. Suspensions are reviewed by a person. You can appeal through a support case with the facts and evidence.
9. Merchandising and Export
Through Merchandising and Export, QwikStone may offer to buy, collect or ship your listed stock to buyers in other markets. Each offer states the price, timing, pickup and what happens if the stock doesn't sell. The offer you accept forms part of this agreement. You can cancel an application until stock has left your yard.
10. Your obligations
- Comply with the laws that apply to your business and products, including tax, product safety, labelling, customs, export controls, sanctions, anti-bribery, labour and environmental laws, and quarrying permits.
- Hold the licences, permits and insurance your business needs.
- Protect buyers' personal data you receive and use it only for the order (see the Privacy policy).
- Don't contact buyers to complete orders outside QwikStone, and don't add contact details to listings or messages to do so.
- Keep your Seller Hub sign-in secure, with two-step sign-in for every team member.
11. Intellectual property and brand use
You keep ownership of your listings, photos and trademarks. You may use the QwikStone name and the “Sell on QwikStone” badge only as we provide them, and only to point to your QwikStone store. You must not suggest that QwikStone endorses your business beyond being a verified seller.
12. Suspension and termination
- You may close your seller account at any time once open orders, payouts and amounts owed are settled. Paid plan periods aren't refunded except where the law requires.
- We may suspend or end your account, with notice where reasonable, if you break this agreement or the law, provide false information, put buyers at risk, or if we stop offering the Services in your market. For serious breaches we may act immediately.
- After termination we pay out amounts due to you, less what you owe, once open orders are complete and any hold period ends. Sections that by their nature continue (fees owed, liability, indemnity, disputes) survive.
13. Liability and indemnity
The liability and indemnity sections of the Terms of use apply. In addition, you are responsible for the goods you sell — their quality, safety, legality and conformity with the listing — and you will compensate QwikStone and buyers for losses caused by your breach of this agreement, your goods or your listings.
14. Changes and notices
We may change this agreement with at least 14 days' notice (30 days for fee increases), by email and in Seller Hub. Changes don't affect orders already placed. If you don't agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect. Notices to QwikStone: legal@qwikstone.com.
15. Law and disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Disputes are resolved as set out in section 18 of the Terms of use, including arbitration seated in Jaipur for business users. Grievance officer: [Grievance officer's name — to be added], grievance@qwikstone.com.
