Cookie policy

The cookies and browser storage QwikStone uses, what each one does and how to control them.

For: Everyone · Effective 25 November 2026 · Last updated 25 October 2026
The short version
  • QwikStone uses only its own (first-party) cookies. There are no third-party advertising or social-media trackers on our sites.
  • Necessary cookies keep you signed in, keep your cart and remember your country, currency and language.
  • Analytics — recording which searches and listings are used, to improve QwikStone — is optional. In the EU and UK we ask first; everywhere else you can turn it off below.

1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (“local storage”) works in a similar way but stays on your device and isn't sent to our servers. This policy explains which ones QwikStone uses on qwikstone.com, seller.qwikstone.com and broker.qwikstone.com, and should be read with our Privacy policy.

2. Necessary cookies

These are needed for the sites to work and can't be switched off in our settings. They don't need consent.

3. Analytics (optional)

With your permission, the marketplace records what you search for (including searches that return no results), which listings you view and click, and what you add to the cart and order. This is linked to the qs_uk identifier, and to your account once you sign in. We use it only to improve search, listings, delivery estimates and the relevance of sponsored listings, and to show sellers anonymous totals such as popular search terms. It is not shared with advertising networks or sold.

Your choice on this browser: —
This setting applies to the site you are on now. On the marketplace it controls the analytics described above.

4. Advertising measurement

Sponsored listings and banners on QwikStone are served by QwikStone itself, not by an advertising network. To charge advertisers fairly and filter invalid clicks, we count impressions and clicks on sponsored content, and we ignore repeated clicks from the same visitor on the same ad within 30 minutes. Advertisers only ever see totals.

5. Browser storage

We use local storage on your device for small conveniences. It isn't sent to our servers:

KeyWhat it remembers
qs_themeLight or dark mode.
qs_asst, qs_chat, qs_schatWhether the help assistant or chat was open, and your unsent draft.
qs_adr, qs_inv, qs_tbl_…Form drafts, table layouts and filters you chose in Seller Hub.
qs_cont_lbThat you've already seen the container options, so we don't show them again for a week.
qs_doc_langThe code language you chose in the API reference.

During a session we may also keep what you typed in a form for a moment while the site switches to your country's version, so you don't have to type it again. Passwords are never kept.

6. Third-party services

When you pay, the payment provider's secure form (Razorpay or Stripe) may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. We don't use third-party analytics, advertising or social-media cookies.

7. Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop sign-in and the cart from working. Clearing cookies resets your analytics choice, so we'll ask again where that applies.
